Stress

*University Stress*

It’s 2 AM and the library hums,

coffee gone cold, notes spread thin.

Deadlines stack like bricks on your chest,

and your inbox never stops blinking.

Exams in one hand, rent in the other.

Group projects where only you showed up.

“Figure it out,” they said.

So you did. Then did it again.

It’s the group chat blowing up,

the assignment you forgot,

the future asking questions

while you’re still trying to eat today.

Stress is loud.

It tells you you’re behind,

that everyone else has it figured out,

that one bad grade means a bad life.

But listen:

You’re learning more than formulas.

You’re learning how to keep going

when you’re tired.

How to ask for help.

How to breathe between chapters.

How to fail, and still show up tomorrow.

So take the walk.

Text the friend.

Sleep, even if it’s just 6 hours.

The degree matters, but so do you.

This season is heavy, not forever.

One assignment. One lecture. One day.

You’re not drowning —

you’re training to swim in deeper water.

You’ve got this.

And when it’s done, you’ll be proud

of the person stress tried to break,

but didn’t.
