<p>The "As" and "like" ..... in English Language they carry the same meaning but in a realistic concept, they function differently.....</p><p>Both words are huge determinants of our becoming because they pattern the mindset in thinking and influences the behaviour. </p><p><strong>One creates an imitative atmosphere while the other creates an innovative atmosphere, One makes you see others than yourself, the other makes you see yourself as one others should look at.</strong></p><p>Many of us use and live with these words in an incorrect manner, and when we say them to ourselves, the speech contradicts the action. The words "as" and "like" ..... hmmmm...two words, two meaning, two manner of results, and two kinds of living. THEY REPRESENT DIFFERENT IDENTITIES.....</p><p>I'LL BE USING DIFFERENT EXAMPLES</p><blockquote>When I say "I think like a great man" , this means I think, because great men have thoughts and I have to pattern myself LIKE them, but if I say "I think as a great man" it means I envision my thoughts because I'm a great man. I think AS a great man think. For example, I am to act the role of a mad man in a movie, all I need to do is to copy the way mad men do and act <strong><em>like</em></strong> them.</blockquote><blockquote> An amateur actor can act like a character by copying gestures, but a professional actor performs as the character, meaning they inhabit the mindset and motivations. When you do something like someone else, you are treating them as a separate model to follow but when you act as someone, you are operating from within that role.</blockquote><h3><strong><em>WHEN YOU SAY:</em></strong></h3><blockquote><span style="background-color: transparent;">"I work like a leader": It means you are watching leaders and trying to mimic their habits.</span></blockquote><h3><strong><em>BUT WHEN YOU SAY:</em></strong></h3><blockquote>"I work as a leader": It means leadership is your current state, and your actions naturally flow from that reality!</blockquote><p>Preparing for new year resolutions and goals to achieve needs a good dose of you living in what you envision yourself as. Though they might not be evident now, but when the life you dream of starts happening, you can't be a stranger to it, trying to adapt to it because you already prepared for it.</p><blockquote>WHAT YOU VISUALIZE, YOU WORK TOWARDS AND ACTUALIZE.</blockquote><blockquote>PEACE ✌️</blockquote>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
