The best? It’s already here. I can feel it.

We’ve grown used to the statement, “the best is yet to come.” But have we ever pause to ask ourselves: when exactly will this “best” arrive? How long are we supposed to wait, peering into tomorrow with restless hope? For some, this phrase brings comfort and hope, but for many, it has become a weight keeping them locked in endless waiting, and anticipation for a future that seems near but never within reach.

Here's the truth; the long-awaited moment has already arrived. The best has been here all along and not in the distant future, but in the present, it's in the very air we breathe, the people around us, and the little opportunities scattered through our daily lives.

The problem is not that the best has not come, it’s that many fail to notice it. We are often so fixed on chasing the extraordinary that we miss the treasure deposited in the ordinary. The open door of a new idea, the small chance to learn or grow ; these are the “best” we often overlook.

To see it, we must train our eyes to look deeper. We must learn to see beyond the ordinary. The best doesn’t always announce itself with a loud voice, sometimes it whispers faintly through small beginnings and subtle opportunities that go unnoticed.

It's important to note that the best will never manifest fully if you don’t rise to seize it. Opportunities ignored are wasted blessings. Hopes without effort are dreams left unattended. If you sit back waiting, you may keep waiting forever. The best solely lies in your action to unlock it and nothing else.

Personally, I find encouragement in the ancient Scriptures; the Bible which reminds us, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might” (Ecclesiastes 9:10). This timeless wisdom reminds us that success doesn’t come from waiting, but from rising to seize the opportunities already around us. The Bible does not call us to sit idle, waiting for tomorrow’s blessings. It calls us to work with all our strength today, because it is in today’s effort that tomorrow’s greatness is born.

So, instead of saying “the best is yet to come,” declare this; “the best is here, and I will seize it.” Step into the present with open eyes, sharpened awareness, and a readiness to act. Don’t just look for grand breakthroughs; embrace the small chances around you. Work diligently, act boldly, and live with intention because the best isn’t hidden in tomorrow, it’s present in the choices you make today.

THE BEST IS ALREADY HERE; Yet it will only reveal itself to those who are ready to work and seize the moment with all their might.
