<p>I met with Bibi sometimes back at the market place. Bibo is my friend. She has been in Nairobi for a while now. We became friends since she broke up with her first boyfriend at university. Bibo is big. Like big. I am even afraid for her once in a while. But she is humorous and got a gist for good life. </p><p><br/></p><p>On this occasion, I had passed by the Market place to see James Karekie the meat man. He had not delivered his meat order during the burial of Kevo the Drummer. I wanted to confront him and shout words he couldn't handle. But then I met Bibo. </p><p><br/></p><p>She glowed with some new newness. I liked this. She had been down since Covid 19 had come and she had lost the connection touch that comes with people. She saw me first. I was busy making my arguments and how I was going to insult James Karekie the meat Man to his death. So when someone touched be from behind, I was shook. But it was Bibo, so I burst into laughter while trying to say something that I couldn't comprehend myself. </p><p><br/></p><p>We exchanged some slight banters and then Bibo asked me. </p><p>"Did you finish yours?" </p><p>I asked, " What again?" </p><p>"The Covid tissue! I tell you, I still have a room full of the Covid tissue." </p><p>I fell off in laughter. How did this happen. Two years down and she still has her Covid tissue. I wanted to know why she still had Covid Tissue. I wanted to know why she had not finished hers and again, why had she bought such much. </p><p>"I am thinking of donating some to a children's home or a primary school at my village." she retorted. </p><p><br/></p><p>I haven't stopped laughing yet. But Covid Tissue I 2025! </p>
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
