The devil i call exams
<p><br/></p><p>When the exams come, the nights grow long,</p><p>Books become battles, and my mind a throng</p><p>Of restless fears that never sleep,</p><p>Thoughts that run too fast, too deep.</p><p><br/></p><p>Pages whisper like ghosts at night,</p><p>Their silent questions stirring fright.</p><p>My weary brain—an aching drum—</p><p>Beats on and on, though numb, so numb.</p><p><br/></p><p>The clock is cruel; it mocks my pace,</p><p>Time slipping past like a cold embrace.</p><p>Each chapter feels a mountain tall,</p><p>Each formula a looming wall.</p><p><br/></p><p>I drag my hope from page to page,</p><p>A prisoner in this papered cage.</p><p>Oh, how I pray—for mercy, for dawn—</p><p>For this storm of stress to finally be gone.</p><p><br/></p><p>I lift a quiet plea above,</p><p>A whispered cry in desperate love:</p><p>“Let this end, let my thoughts find peace,</p><p>Let this heavy burden finally cease.”</p><p><br/></p><p>For when the last exam is done,</p><p>And victory or loss is won,</p><p>I’ll lay my tired soul to rest,</p><p>With peace curled softly in my chest.</p><p><br/></p><p>Until that day, I push, I fight,</p><p>A fragile flame in endless night.</p><p>But still I dream of freedom’s air—</p><p>A mind unchained, at last laid bare</p>
