“The Gift I Almost Overlooked”

"What Did I Have to Offer?"

It was a question that haunted me for years. A question that made me second-guess myself, my abilities, my worth. I watched as others around me shone brightly, their talents and achievements sparkling like stars in the night sky. I wondered what I had to offer, what made me special.

Then one day, I realized something. I had something unique to offer the world, something that couldn't be measured by awards or accolades. I had the power of kindness, the gift of compassion, the strength of empathy. And most especially I have JESUS. These were qualities that couldn't be quantified or captured on paper, but they were the qualities that made me, me. I realized that these were the qualities that made me valuable, not just to myself, but to the people around me. So I began to embrace my kindness, to share my compassion, to use my empathy to lift others up. And slowly but surely, I began to see that what I had to offer was more than enough. It was more than I ever could have imagined.

The lesson

We all have something to offer the world, something unique and valuable. It might not be something flashy or obvious, but it's there, inside each and every one of us. So instead of trying to measure ourselves against others, let's focus on developing and sharing the qualities that make us who we are. Because those qualities, the ones that come from the heart, are what truly matter.

© The comfort ink.
