🦁 THE KING THREW DANIEL INTO A DEN OF HUNGRY LIONS… BUT HE FORGOT ONE THING: DANIEL'S GOD WAS THERE. 🔥 The palace was silent that night. King Darius couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about the man he had just sentenced to death. Daniel. Daniel wasn't a criminal. He wasn't a rebel. His only “crime” was that he refused to stop praying to God. Daniel had enemies who were jealous of him. They searched for something—anything—they could use against him. But they couldn't find corruption in Daniel's life. So they attacked the one thing they knew he would never abandon: His faith. They convinced the king to sign a law saying that for thirty days, nobody could pray to any god or person except the king. Daniel heard about the decree. He knew what could happen. He knew the punishment. But when Daniel returned home... He opened his windows. He knelt down. And he prayed. 🙏 Just as he had always done. His enemies were watching. They caught him. They took him before the king. The king was heartbroken. He realized he had been trapped by his own decree. He tried everything he could to save Daniel. But the law could not be changed. As darkness fell, soldiers took Daniel toward the lion's den. Imagine walking into that darkness knowing there were hungry lions waiting for you. The gate opened. Daniel was thrown inside. THUD! The stone was rolled across the entrance. The king returned to his palace. But he couldn't eat. He couldn't sleep. All night, he wondered: “Is Daniel still alive?” Meanwhile, inside the darkness... Daniel was surrounded by lions. Their eyes watched him. Their powerful bodies moved through the shadows. But something extraordinary happened. THE LIONS DIDN'T ATTACK. God had sent His angel. And the mouths of the lions were shut. 🌙 Daniel spent the night in the den—but God spent the night with Daniel. At sunrise, King Darius ran toward the den. He shouted: “Daniel! Servant of the living God, is thy God… able to deliver thee from the lions?” For a moment... Silence. Then came a voice from the darkness. “O king, live for ever.” Daniel was alive! The king ordered them to lift him from the den. They pulled Daniel out. And the Bible says: 📖 “So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.” — Daniel 6:23 Not a scratch. Not a wound. Not even a bite. The man who entered the lion's den as a condemned prisoner... walked out as a testimony of God's power. ❤️ THE LESSON Daniel didn't know how God would save him. He simply knew who he trusted. He could have stopped praying. He could have hidden his faith. He could have said, “I'll pray again when the danger is gone.” But Daniel remained faithful. And sometimes faith means continuing to pray when you know the consequences. 🦁 The lions were real. 🔥 The danger was real. 😭 The fear was real. But God was more real. Maybe you're facing your own “lion's den” today. A problem that scares you. A situation you cannot control. A battle you don't know how to win.
