"The last message" (Part 2)
<p>Teni froze.</p><p>Her heart pounded so loud, it felt like something inside her chest was trying to escape.</p><p>Another knock.</p><p>Closer this time.</p><p>She couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe.</p><p>Slowly… she turned around.</p><p>Nothing.</p><p>Her room was exactly the same—bed, chair, mirror… door still locked.</p><p>Her phone buzzed again.</p><p>With trembling hands, she looked down.</p><p>“Don’t turn around too fast.”</p><p>A tear slipped down her face.</p><p>“You might see me.”</p><p>Her throat went dry.</p><p>She quickly jumped off the bed and switched on the light.</p><p>The room flooded with brightness.</p><p>Nothing.</p><p>No one.</p><p>Just silence.</p><p>She laughed nervously, pacing.</p><p>“This is stupid… this is stupid…”</p><p>Her phone buzzed again.</p><p>She looked.</p><p>“Light won’t help you.”</p><p>Suddenly—</p><p>Her mirror.</p><p>Something moved.</p><p>Not behind her.</p><p>Inside the mirror.</p><p>Her reflection… wasn’t copying her anymore.</p><p>It was smiling.</p><p>But Teni wasn’t.</p><p>Her body went cold.</p><p>The reflection slowly raised its hand… and pressed it against the inside of the mirror.</p><p>As if trying to come out.</p><p>Teni staggered back.</p><p>Her phone buzzed again.</p><p>“I told you not to sleep tonight.”</p><p>The reflection tilted its head.</p><p>Then whispered—</p><p>But not from the mirror.</p><p>Right behind her ear.</p><p>“Because once you do… I get to switch places with you.”</p>
