*Season 2,

Episode 5

“The Mark”*

The sky above the campus dimmed unnaturally early that evening. Clouds swirled like something was brewing — something not of this world.

Success lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Her mind replayed Zara’s words: *"You're the key."*

Angelina entered quietly, carrying a bowl of rice and stew. “Eat something. You’ve been zoning out since that meeting.”

Success sat up slowly. “Zara said she saw something. Something dark… and it whispered my name.”

Angelina set the food down. “Zara’s always been a bit dramatic.”

“She’s never been this serious,” Success said. “And I had a dream. Again.”

Angelina paused. “Same nightmare?”

Success nodded. “But this time, I saw... my name written in blood on a wall. And underneath it—Zara’s voice saying, *‘Protect the ones you love or watch them fade.’*”

Meanwhile…

In the library, Denniem, Aisha, Amaka, and Kunle gathered around an old book Raymond found earlier — a tattered journal of a student who went missing in 1999.

The last page read: *"One of them bears the mark. When it awakens, the school becomes a gate."*

“Mark?” Kunle asked, raising a brow. “Like a tattoo?”

Aisha looked at Denniem. “Do you think it’s... someone we know?”

Denniem shook his head slowly. “Or someone we trust.”

Cut back to Success — she stood up and walked to the mirror. She lifted her shirt slightly and gasped.

A small, glowing symbol shimmered faintly beneath her rib.

She screamed.

Angelina ran in, eyes wide. “What is that?!”

Success could barely breathe. “I think… I’m the mark.”

—To Be Continued—

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
