Whispers between hearts.🕛🥺

After tucking the children to bed, I checked up on Alexis. He was still in the nook. It was 8 p.m. at night; he doesn't stay that long in the study.

"What's wrong, you cool, babe?" I called out.

"Yeah sure! Got some stuff to work on, be right with you."

"Alright," I replied.

"The kids?" he asked.

"Off to bed," I replied.

"Oh, did you tell them 'Daddy loves them?" he asked.

"Sure, I did."

...

Got to the room already asleep, I turned off the light, tucked him under the duvet well, lay beside him. I was so tired I dozed off.

...

The sound of the rain woke me up. Intended on going to the kids’ room to make sure they're still well tucked in beneath their duvet so they don't get cold... Got out of bed, eyes still weak, didn't notice my man was no longer laying beside me. Got to the footmat, noticed there were only two pairs of palms instead of four... Thought he went to the restroom.

Proceeded to my kids’ room, tucked them in well, turned off the necessary, made sure they were warm. I left for our room. Now it dawned on me he wasn't still in sight... Now nervous... I checked around, no sign of him. My brain shut my mouth from calling out to him.

A little light from the lightning stroke before me, I tilted my head to the direction to see where it would lead me to... The balcony. My eyes widened. It now occurred to me that I was yet to check the balcony...

There he was, sitting in the dark, sat with his head bowed, fingers clenched tight, as though holding himself together was the only strength he had left.

Aware of my presence, he tried looking strong for me but it was too late... He became so overwhelmed.

My man was strung tight after the whole ups and down and I couldn't sense it, tears trickled down his face.

He wanted to utter a word but his words failed him... his voice too broke, and he stood shuddering, too fragile to hide the storm inside him.

His lips quivered as he tried to hold back the tears, but his heartache was too heavy to hide.

I went close to him, pulled him into my arms, and he broke down, whimpering softly against my chest.

At that moment it dawned on me that, in as much as I want a sweet man... I should be able to have the potential to keep a sweet man! I thought to myself.

...

Woke up from my dream. 😫😂

I needed to journal this down.

Men don't talk, and hardly cry... Getting to Pinterest to get an image cover for my writeup, it took me minutes to see an image of a weak man — it was more of the females! Why? Ain't they humans?

This is something that we have to look at!

They're taught to be a man and internalize everything, and we women were never taught what it means to create the atmosphere for your man to open up himself to you. And so in times and moments where your man opens up to you, receive it, talk him into your arms. Don't use his vulnerability against him when you both quarrel — it will be a slap to his face! It's also imperative that energy comes from within. (You can't give what you don't have).

Your energy builds your man!

The world gives them a burnt tree and watches them make flowers blossom from its ashes, makes them bend elements. When they come home, bring the stars down from the sky to their palms. Let home be their safe spot. 🥺

Never ask to see his scar if you're going to map out where the new wound should go! — heal his wounds. (More reasons I don't really value the young blood boyfriend and girlfriend games. Why sacrifice all your time, energy building a man that won't eventually become yours!)

Men suffer from emotional and physical pain, and when they try to talk about it, no one seems to understand, so they eventually learn to lock it away and suffer in silence. The world has prioritized men to always be strong and women to be weak and emotional.

Psychologically: Men secretly crave validation more than women.

I hope the Alphas heal from the things they don't talk about 🥺

The Alpha females finfs it hard to heal, we are covered in concealer! Don't use her emotions against her 🧎🏽♀️🥺

It's okay if they promise to take a bullet for you; make sure you're not the one pulling the trigger!🚶🏽♀

#keeyra...✍🏽

Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
