The story of Deborah and sisera(judges 4) part 1
<p> It all happens when the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the lord after the death of king ehud. The lord handed them to jabin king of Canaan that resigned in hazor, captain of whose host is sisera that dwell in Haroseth of Gentiles.</p><p>The Israelites then cried unto the lord for he had nine hundred chariots of iron and has mightily oppressed them for 20 years. And there was Deborah, wife of lapidoth, judged of Israel.</p><p>The Israelites came to Deborah for judgement under the palm tree of her house between ramah and bethel in Mount Ephraim. Then Deborah called upon Barak son of abinoam our of kedeshnaptali and said uto him "hath not the lord God of Israel commanded saying, Go and draw towards mount Tabor and take with thee ten thousand of men and of the children of naptali and Zebulum? Asked by Deborah to Barak.</p><p>And God continue to command that and I will go with thee to river kishon sisera, the captain of jabins army, even with his chariots and his multitude, I will deliver him unto your hand and he will be defeated.</p><p>But Barak said unto Deborah, if you will go with me, then I will go but if you wouldn't, them I will not go. And Deborah said surely I will go with you because the journey we are about to go for is not for our honor, the lord shall defeat sisera in the hands of a woman, Deborah arose and went with Barak to kedesh.</p><p>Barak called Zebulum and Naptali to kedesh and he went up with the ten thousand men and Deborah to Battle with sisera.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is where I will stop for part 1.......
