Ada trudged through the dusty streets of Lagos, her eyes scanning the market stalls for affordable vegetables. The rising cost of living had taken its toll on her small family. As a single mother, she worked multiple jobs to make ends meet, but it seemed like every naira stretched thinner and thinner.

Ada's daily struggle was a balancing act. She'd skip meals to save money, only to worry about paying rent. Her daughter, Nia, deserved better. Ada's heart ached as she watched Nia's bright smile fade with each passing day.

One fateful evening, as Ada returned home from work, she was robbed. A group of young men snatched her bag, leaving her with nothing – no phone, no money, no identification. She felt shattered, vulnerable.

In desperation, Ada turned to her friend Nneoma. Over steaming plates of jollof rice and suya, Nneoma listened, offering words of comfort and practical help. Together, they devised a plan to get Ada back on her feet.

As Ada navigated the aftermath of the robbery, she encountered more hurdles. The bank accounts she shared with her late husband were frozen due to a bureaucratic snag, leaving her without access to their savings. Nia's school fees were overdue, and the landlord threatened eviction.

Nneoma's support remained steadfast, but Ada felt the weight of her struggles bearing down. One evening, as they sat amidst the vibrant colors of the market, Ada confided in Nneoma about her fears. Nneoma listened, her eyes filled with empathy, and offered words of encouragement.

Despite the challenges, Ada refused to give up. She poured her heart into finding solutions, attending community meetings, and seeking help from local organizations. Slowly, Ada began to rebuild her life, finding strength in her resilience and the support of those around her.

Ada's determination propelled her forward. She applied for microloans, attended financial literacy workshops, and started a small business selling traditional Nigerian crafts. The journey was tough, but Ada's resilience paid off. She began to rebuild her life, providing for Nia's needs and finding joy in her entrepreneurial venture.

As Ada's business grew, she faced new challenges – managing finances, navigating market competition, and balancing work with motherhood. Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
