THE VALUE OF WHAT WE ONCE HAD
<p>I find peace in the pages of the letters I sent to you</p><p>I find solace in the memories we shared</p><p>I find happiness in the times we cared for ourselves</p><p>But as time grows, so we learn to let go</p><p>I guess you have just the way I have </p><p>Though it's quite hard as I crave for moments with you </p><p>Moments only made possible by a miracle </p><p>So as I put all my eggs in one basket hoping that this impossibility becomes possible </p><p>I still bear in mind that my thoughts are just mere thoughts </p><p>And I'm forced to return to my reality which is a world without you by my side</p><p><br/></p><p>The boundary between my reality and my imagination grows thinner by the day</p><p>I'm in dire need of an anchor to slow this inevitable insanity </p><p>I look up the heavens for bearings as I find pleasure at the bottom of a bottle </p><p>I need freedom, unfortunately for me, I'm only free with the ones I trust </p><p>Sadly, the only one I trust is no where to be found </p><p>I'm trying my best to trust myself, who knew it could be this hard? </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
