<p>THE WRITERS BLOCK
</p><p>Felt the world in a different perspective the air in my lungs sang a polluted trance as I stomp on the half finished cigarette .
</p><p> For a writer like me, with a famous reputation, I found it hard to write on anything at the moment which was strange.
</p><p> Poems have been said, stories expressed and essays marked.
</p><p> Never wrong, always right
</p><p>Or at least in my pages
</p><p>And now I’m feeling something defined as
</p><p>The writing block
</p><p>The invisible gravity weighing on every creative mind with an ink
</p><p>And the breaks are getting longer
</p><p>Excuses are getting bulky
</p><p>The frustration behind the unsatisfied audience
</p><p>Unwritten voices
</p><p>An unvoiced disease
</p><p>Dried ink
</p><p>Scrambled papers
</p><p>A full dustbin
</p><p>But yet nothing
</p><p>Empty than the void before creation
</p><p>Or probably my mind going off path
</p><p>Been watching a lot of physics documentaries
</p><p>If I can’t do romance
</p><p>Then maybe sci-fi
</p><p>I look around, it’s probably around 4AM in the morning</p><p>Been at the park since dawn
</p><p>The writing block
</p><p>You may have won the war
</p><p>But you may not win the battle ?</p><p>At the moonshine, I reside to my quarters,</p><p>Rest early,</p><p>No midnight lantern,</p><p>No eye aches or tears due to prolonged screen time,</p><p>Just because of the rushing ideas
</p><p>Waterfall of creative opinion put in a present called stories,</p><p>Between me and you,</p><p>A writer to another,</p><p>Who do you think have won the war,</p><p>Or was it always a battle ?
</p><p>If this was a medical visionary , maybe I’ll feel like empowering the readers,</p><p>Lies we tell ourselves deceive no one,</p><p>Out of topic, out of pages,</p><p>Out of thought, out of mind.</p><p>Till we meet innovation,</p><p>I guess I’ll be stuck with the ever patient hope.
