It's throw back thursday and if there’s one fun childhood memory that always comes to mind, it’s those days of sightseeing adventures. Every holiday weekend, my family would take time to explore, museums, fun spots, and our all-time favorite, Mr. Biggs. (I honestly don’t even know if Mr. Biggs is still around 😅).

Sundays were the sweetest. After church, we’d eat lunch, rest a little, then head out in the evening for ice cream Sunday 🤤. Those little moments felt magical.

And outside those outings, there were childhood friends. We’d run barefoot, knocking on each other’s gates, playing with sand so we could mould houses lol, playing hide and seek until the street lights came on. We weren’t worried about money, bills, or the future 😪. We only cared about who would win the next game or whose turn it was to fetch water for the group.

Back then, life seemed slower. We had time for family, for laughter, for playing with childhood friends. Visiting their houses, running around barefoot, sharing secrets, those memories were golden✨.

But now… it feels like time has stolen that version of life. Everyone’s busy chasing work, money, survival and the weight of the economy has stolen that simplicity. Families hardly sit together anymore. Childhood friends have turned into distant strangers. The laughter has been replaced with deadlines, the playfulness with pressure, and somehow those carefree moments have faded.

But memories like these remind me that life is not just about the grind, it’s about connection, laughter, and cherishing the little things.

What about you? If you could rewrite one childhood memory and relive it, which would it be? 😊

Back then, it was Mr. Biggs’ ice cream. Now? A small tip feels just as sweet 😂🍦
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
