<p>I stumbled across a video that made me feel much better after watching it. I realized that it's not about having goals, but it's about taking steps towards it. This video is about overthinking. </p><p>I learnt that spinning over unneeded thoughts makes goals less achievable for most people. How long your journey is, how unbearable your problem is, is probably the output of overthinking. </p><p><br/></p><p>Your endgame, goals that you can't see through right now shouldn't be your cup of tea now, it's the steps you take towards it.</p><p>That video made me quit thinking too excessively which always had me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and to unhealthy conclusions about my growth. </p><p><br/></p><p>Overthinking make a short journey long, a small problem massive and unbearable instead of seeing the need to take a step and move closer and find a solution and tackle it.</p><p>During those days, overthinking made me blind to my little wins, to my intentional steps i took towards my goals. My " what am I even doing?" " I'm stuck" " I'm not doing well" murmurs to myself. </p><p>But now, I see a new light. I'm growing and I'm moving closer through the steps i take which obviously I'm blinded to before.</p><p><br/></p><p>And one more thing: Useful connections are so important in man's life. That's what I'm prioritizing now. Grateful to be guided by you, KOREDE BADMUS my mentor. Your words of encouragement makes my steps more clearer, bolder and more intentional. I love you so much, Miss.🤍🤍💖</p><p>Now I tell this to my new self:</p><p><br/></p><p>" 'you can have it all, not just all at once'. It's a matter of taking a step forward.....growth is like a child's walk practice, the more clear steps you take, the more closer you get to your goal. No pressure, no overwhelming thoughts, no unhealthy conclusions. Aim for goals but trust your steps, the process will do a lot in achieving the goals, not predicting what you don't see or know how it will be; Worry about what's at hand at the moment, focus on the steps towards your goals, not the goal itself.</p><p><br/></p><p>I want to tell you that, you're doing fine. It's working out well for you. </p><p>You may not see it now but when the process manifest, fulfillment and achievement will overwhelm you more than the unneeded thoughts would. Trust me."</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
