In the spirit of bringing my whole self to work, and by work, I mean life, I decided to run a performance review on my own emotional state. Welcome to the quarterly check-in I never asked for, starring: Me, as both the manager and the reluctant employee of my own soul.

First up: my wellness department’s hydration KPI. Let’s just say the metrics are… carbonated. I run on Coke, and pure vibes. My dashboard flagged this weeks ago: “Hydration = 80% soda, 15% chaos, 5% actual water.” Not exactly the balanced intake my body’s board meeting agreed on.

Then there’s sleep. The goal was eight solid hours; the reality was five and a half, fractured by a 2 a.m Google dive into whether pigeons feel lonely. I may not be well-rested, but I am weirdly informed about urban bird social structures.

Social energy got its own metric. I’d aimed for meaningful connections and a balanced social battery. What happened? Four “on my way” texts sent from the comfort of my bed, and one late-night voice note from a friend that I actually listened to, all the way through. I was absent more than I was present, but when it counted, I was there.

Then there's the creativity department. It was supposed to be about fewer abandoned drafts. But instead, my Notes app became a graveyard of ideas. I started eight pieces and finished none. The output was scattered, but the spark stayed alive.

So here I am, touching base with my emotional KPIs. Maybe in the next quarter, I’ll drink one actual glass of water or just rename my system "Carbonated Chaos" and call it a hydration strategy.

Either way, I’ll still be here, measuring my peace in pigeons at 2 am and my connections in voice notes actually heard. The metrics might stay messy, but at least I’m checking in.

And sometimes, showing up for your own review is the only KPI that really counts.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
