TRULY YOURS

What is your space

Your mind?

Your heart?

Your soul?

Your room?

Your home?

Your people?

Your country

Your nation?

I just observed something unique about spaces like in the individual sense. For example your room, We often overlook how entangled we are with that specific space in a way that we become part of it and it becomes part of us. Without touching your bed you already know how the sheet feels, without thinking too hard you already know where whatever is, when in it, you feel like your earpods inside its case; protected and recharging. Even the scent of this place partly reflects our body scents and even energy (Aura), like you could actually walk into someone's room and be able to tell a bit about them from just how their space makes you feel without any prior knowledge of their person.

Our space is so special because we are very selective of who we let in. I think this is because we are creatures of habit and we don't enjoy major alterations to already established things. Like no you can't wear your shoes in here or I don't like how you make me feel.

Some are so straight, they'll say I don't like your vibe.

People are really critical about who they let into their space, so if someone has ever shared their space with you, that can go down as one of the most selfless acts they can ever perform and it also kinda tells you what you mean to them.

This is because people really remove the mask in their spaces, you see them for who they are. No filters, just pure honest vulnerability.

This insight became practical to me when a friend mentioned how their body by default automatically reacts to a new place they have to spend a night in, that sleeping becomes a problem for a while before they adjust. I am also guilty of this and probably so are many others.

The most noticeable aspect of leaving my space in terms of staying somewhere else that isn't home is the toilet thing. It gets so bad that sometimes my body neglects waste passage because “bro you're not home”. This only tells us how impactful our spaces are to us.

When you're tired go home, when you're hungry go home, when you're sad go home, when you're anxious go home, when you're sick go home, when life is lifing go home and most importantly when you're happy remember to go home and share that love, because if you only retreat due to unfortunate circumstances and bad vibes, your space would be wired towards that particular kind of feeling and people will feel that too when they visit. This is applicable to every other space.

Share your space with people you value

Don't allow everyone to have

access to your space.
