Trying to Find Real Ways to Earn Online… And Failing (Sometimes)

Ugh. I’ve spent so much time looking for legit ways to earn online, and honestly? It’s exhausting.

I went to YouTube, scrolled through social media, read blogs… and all I found were lists with no proof, videos that tell you to join a group or comment “I’m interested,” and “opportunities” that basically disappear the second you try them. Why is it so hard to get a straight answer?!

I even tried photography. Thought maybe selling stock photos would work—but there aren’t enough platforms that’ll take your stuff, and then you’re supposed to promote it yourself. Online jobs? Most of them had requirements I didn’t meet. I just wanted something small, something I could do on the side. But apparently, that’s harder than it sounds.

Chatting, texting, calling—none of that is in my dictionary. Risky stuff? Nope. Showing my face, sending pictures? Forget it. Maybe it’s because I’m introverted, maybe it’s just not for me. Either way, it’s frustrating.

So I went hunting. I tested sites, apps, bots… tried crypto. The scams, the time-wasters, the “just pay $50 to earn $100” nonsense… I passed through all of it. Honestly, it’s given me some kind of skill I didn’t know I had: spotting which ones might actually work. But still, it’s been hectic.

If it’s slow, it shouldn’t take forever. If it’s fast, it shouldn’t ask me to pay to get my money. Don’t people need workers anymore? I’ve got skills lying dormant, tried affiliate marketing, other tasks… but they never last because they require constant work, publicizing yourself, and honestly, they clash with my studies.

Anyway… that’s my reality. From free sites to free apps, bots, crypto—whatever actually pays, I log it and keep track. Sometimes it’s transport money, sometimes it’s just data money. Little wins here and there. And honestly? That’s exhausting enough already.

I’m sure others can relate to this struggle—the endless hunt for legit ways to earn without showing your face, risking too much, or burning out.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
