<p>Failure hurts, but regret… regret sticks to your skin.</p><p>You can recover from failure, learn, try again. But regret is a replay button that never stops working.</p><p><br/></p><p>It’s that quiet voice that says, you could’ve said something, you should’ve gone, you didn’t have to lose them like that.</p><p>It’s the ache of knowing the door didn’t close by force, you watched it shut and did nothing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Funny thing is, failure feels loud in the moment, but it fades. Regret is the opposite. It grows quieter, sharper, and then it starts to whisper at night when everything else is still.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes I wonder if people fear failure at all, or if it’s just the regret that follows it they can’t stand.</p><p>Because truthfully, failure can teach you.</p><p>Regret just lingers and asks, what if?</p><p><br/></p><p>And that question… that’s the one that ruins sleep.</p>
