<p>So I know I said I'd try posting today but it's coming so late and here's why.....</p><p><br/></p><p>Let's just say I decided to quit sulking and looking pitiful and decided to do something today. </p><p>I've been wanting to start up a new project for a while now but I've kept it on hold for several reasons, the major one being lack of funding. </p><p>Just in case you're wondering what my new project is... </p><p>Well I'm building a couture mannequin from scratch. </p><p>I was watching one of those Tiktok sewing videos by tabja and the mannequin just really caught my attention </p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1000606721.jpg"/></p><p>There and then I decided I wanted one but they cost an arm and a leg....</p><p><br/></p><p>But hold on...</p><p>I'm a builder, aren't I?</p><p><br/></p><p>Well let's just say I decided it was time to wake up fashion-engineer Dolly where she was sleeping and rekindle my love for building. </p><p><br/></p><p>Well let's just say after pausing it for about a month or so now I've decided to start small and take it step by step.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now here's the real reason why I didn't post all day....</p><p>So like I said, I wanted to take the first step and take it a small bit at a time....</p><p>I spent my day today taking that small first step.</p><p>I started with what I call the "skeletal support structure"....</p><p>This is where I first make the figure using corrugated cardboard (cartons). I was able to get the used cartons from a stall owner in my neighborhood and there's nothing I'm more grateful for than getting that much help with starting. Also the boldness to ask in the first place sef 😂.</p><p>Well a couple hours and some hot, painful , invisible finger injuries after, here I am 🤭🤭🤭</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1000605626.jpg"/></p><p>I think I should do this at the end of everyday </p><p>Just come here and write jargon for you guys about my day 😂😂. </p><p>I'm sorry if my writing is a little weird tonight. I'm just too excited to get my words together. </p><p>I'm so proud of myself 🥹🥹🥹</p><p><br/></p><p>Guys I'm officially a self made engineer </p><p>Next I'm building an airplane 😭😭❣️❣️❣️❣️</p><p><br/></p><p>Okay.
