WHAT THE FIRE LEFT BEHIND

I remember the time my parents house caught on fire and was reduced to nothing. Man...it really took a lot to bounce back from that.🫂

I remember going out of the house when the fire started, I was screaming “fire fire” and they all thought I was playing a prank on them.

I still remember running out barefoot, I had just my boxers on and had to move my brothers out.

I completely forgot one of my brother was still sleeping in there, I had to go into the house again and carry him out. I got my pink boxer burned in the process.😂

Sometimes I laugh when I think about it cause this was one of the days my mom didn't lock us inside the house.😂💔

My mom lost all the money she saved up that day, my dad lost all his most valued books and properties. We had nowhere to go, our pastors wife offered to take us in, and we found ourselves living in a bedroom in someone's house.

It was a lot, but eventually we overcame all that.

Thanks for reading!♥️
