When Two Oceans Clash.

The Pacific and the Atlantic are not the same. They carry different currents, different colors, even different salt levels. And yet, they meet. Off Cape Horn, their waves crash so violently sailors once called it the end of the world. In the Strait of Gibraltar, they touch again flowing side by side, distinct but inseparable.

That’s us.

We came together from different worlds, different beliefs, different ways of seeing life, different tides in our souls. There were nights when silence stretched too wide between us, when words cut sharper than we meant them to, when it felt like we were pulling against each other instead of flowing together. There were times I questioned if we could really stand as one when our currents were so different.

But like the oceans, we didn’t retreat. We kept showing up. Even in the storms. Even when it was hard.

You, with your resilience, steady, strong, unshaken. Me, with my depths, vulnerable, searching, needing to be held. You pulled me closer when my fears tried to drown me. I fought to be honest with you, even when my sensitivity felt too heavy.

Science says the Pacific is deeper, but the Atlantic is stronger. And that’s what we are too: your strength, my depth, learning how to coexist without losing ourselves.

Maybe love isn’t about blending into one calm sea. Maybe it’s about the crash and the calm, the pull and the release, the beauty of not being the same but still choosing, again and again, to meet at the shore.

We are two oceans colliding. Untamed. Unbroken. And together, unstoppable
