<p>WHISPERS FROM THE LAGOON. </p><p><br/></p><p>The river sings,</p><p>As breeze tunes strings </p><p>In response to those who reached out </p><p>In broodings, thoughts and calming tunes. </p><p>Reefs rain ideas;</p><p>Lagoon lays sagely wit,</p><p>To those with powers to wield it.</p><p><br/></p><p>From East to West, </p><p>Ripples run in circles;</p><p>Cycles of legs bear poisons not seen,</p><p>Still, the sun radiates on all.</p><p><br/></p><p>A calm body of beauty </p><p>Attached so close to the earth</p><p>Holds up depths no heart can fathom. </p><p>Storms rumbled and snow fell? </p><p>Their echoes still linger. </p><p><br/></p><p>With silent hums,</p><p>The lagoon warns...</p><p>With drifting leaves,</p><p>Of the tussles to come...</p><p>With distant chants,</p><p>Of the shouts from overseas...</p><p>With stagnant waters,</p><p>Of the fading mists of growth...</p><p>With whispers brisk,</p><p>Of mystic-mashed moments...</p><p>Let the whispers of the lagoon </p><p>Lead the way for graceful embers...</p>
