WRAPPED

It’s the end of the year again.

The season of reflection.

Of achievements, resolutions, and neatly packaged highlights.

Everyone is posting their year in review.

Memories edited down to seconds.

Moments filtered, captioned, archived.

Spotify Wrapped.

YouTube Wrapped.

Snapchat. TikTok. Instagram. Twitter.

Every app has a summary.

But let me ask a quieter question:

What does your year actually consist of?

Was it Screen Time Wrapped?

Or were you so busy showing your life to the world that you forgot to live some of it for yourself?

Creating memories is beautiful.

Sharing them can be joyful.

But somewhere along the line, we started confusing documentation with presence.

As the year ends, let’s remember this:

Not every moment needs a camera to be real.

Not every memory needs an audience to matter.

Your 2026 Spotify Wrapped will change.

Your apps will update.

Your screen time will reset.

But the moments you felt,

the laughter you didn’t pause to record,

the events you clapped through instead of filming,

the conversations you stayed present for,

those stay.

Capture memories, yes.

But don’t outsource your entire life to your phone.

Take your relationships seriously.

Take your future seriously.

Take the people who show up for you seriously.

Because one day, you’ll get tired of your phone.

Or it’ll get tired of you.

But the human connections you build?

Those are the things no algorithm can summarise.
