Writer’s Foresight
<p>Ever felt the urge to write something down quickly — or it disappears?</p><p>I call that writer’s foresight.</p><p><br/></p><p>It is the unwavering desire to catch it in a split second,</p><p>lest it vanishes.</p><p>The pressure pressing on your chest to grab a book and pen,</p><p>to spill your thoughts no matter where you are.</p><p><br/></p><p>It’s a longing — desperate, fierce.</p><p>The need to put it down somewhere… anywhere… to save it.</p><p>That is how it feels to be a writer.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now tell me,</p><p>who is a writer without their equipment?</p><p>They are like birds without wings,</p><p>clocks without ticks,</p><p>lions without roars,</p><p>words without sound.</p><p><br/></p><p>Without what defines them, they are—</p><p>gone.</p><p>Lost.</p><p>Unknown.</p><p>Non-existent.</p><p><br/></p><p>A writer is defined by one thing:</p><p>their resolute zeal to keep writing.</p><p><br/></p>
