YAKUBU MANAGE!!!!!!!
<p><br/></p><p>Yakubu was tired of everyone cajoling him....</p><p>At school "Scholar"</p><p>At home "My Big Brother"</p><p>Hands on his head, with him in deep thoughts...</p><p>"Pressure ti wa"</p><p>But his environment seemed too scream to his instincts...</p><p>"Yakubu manage!!"</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1000709138.jpg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Yakubu was managing. He swears he was. </p><p>He was standing straight with all their expectations on his neck. </p><p>He just wished they could see he wobbled sometimes.</p><p>Yakubu’s babe sent him a "Hey Love" text at 2 AM,  before he could even reply "How are you?", a follow-up dropped "My hair is 85k, but I have 15k already. Can you help manage the "little remainder?"</p><p>Yakubu looked at his remaining 200MB data and his 72k salary he just received. He looked at the 70k she was calling "little remainder."</p><p>But he loved the babe</p><p>Pressure ti wa!</p><p>The response came again loud and clear...</p><p>"Yakubu manage!"</p><p><br/></p><p>They said it like survival was elastic.</p><p>Like a heart could stretch forever</p><p>It had now become like a mantra ..</p><p>It's always.."Yakubu manage".</p><p>And it was never a motivation.</p><p>It was pressure..</p><p><br/></p><p>The pressure that made him learn to pretend...</p><p>Scared that choosing himself would tear everyone else apart...</p><p>He traded his dreams for "what would they think of me?"</p><p>He exchanged his AMBITIONS for their OPINIONS.</p><p><br/></p><p>He managed...</p><p>Until managing became drowning...</p><p>He couldn't stand it anymore.</p><p>He was crumbling under the weight of their expectations....</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1000709147.jpg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Until one day,</p><p>his body closed the meeting.</p><p>And for the first time in a long time, he was no longer haunted with pressure.</p><p>Nothing to think about.</p><p>“There is nothing left for Yakubu to manage!”</p><p>The pressure stopped — because his pulse did.</p><p><br/></p><p>*the echoes...</p><p>" You'll feel it like you want to die but you'll not diee!!"</p><p><br/></p><p>And the tragedy was not only the fact that Yakubu felt like dying.</p><p>He had already started dying...in installments.</p><p>A little when he ignored the shaking in his hands.</p><p>A little when he swallowed his “I can’t.”</p><p>A little when rest felt like weakness.</p><p><br/></p><p>So Yakubu bowed to their echoes and bowed ...</p><p><br/></p><p>six feet deep</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1000709146.jpg"/><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>This insight was brought together by the TWO CENTS AMEBO ROOM!!!</p>
