About Arrey Collins
Arrey Collins is a Human Rights and Humanitarian Lawyer at the International Criminal Court (ICC), The Hague, Netherlands. Before joining the ICC, Arrey Collins gained extensive international experience, training with the Media Legal Defence Initiative (now Media Defence) in London. This experience introduced him to advocacy before the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR). He also trained at the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in Italy and the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He holds an LL.M. in Transnational Crimes and Justice from UPEACE/UNICRI. Arrey Collins is also Co-founder at CAMP, where he served as a Legal and Humanitarian Officer, and the Founder of ARREY & ASSOCIATES LAW OFFICE. He was formerly a Corresponding Advocate at Barreau du Metz, France, National Vice President at Avocats Sans Frontières Humanitaires du Cameroun, and is a Fellow/Alumni of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law, Italy. He has served as a member of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, and is also a Fellow/Alumni of the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Arrey Collins is additionally a Pro bono Human Rights and Humanitarian Lawyer and serves as the Assistant Secretary of the African Bar Association (Cameroon Chapter).
