On the business side of things, how can one grow a makeup and cosmetology brand from the scratch to the point of having high paying and popular clients?

I would say Consistency and branding. Consistency is what gets you the recognition. When you start a makeup ;and cosmetology brand, every feed, posts and tweet should give an indication of what you are about, people would begin to notice you if you are consistent with updates on what you do online. Then the branding sets in. Look at your competitors, what are they doing that you can do differently? What makes you unique? What are they doing to make their mark in the industry? This is where you test yourself to know your strengths , dwell on that to build a brand that popular clients would sort for. Most makeup artists in Ghana are into transformation. I believe in enhancing beauty and not transforming the looks of people with makeup products. That is what I am noted for. Most influential and high paying clients are into the beauty enhancement and not transformations so I targeted that area and worked really hard to become the standard of what my target market look for in a makeup artist. Be consistent enough to be recognized and build a solid brand.
