<p>In an Inter-Tribal marriage</p><p> Is it a compulsory for the child to sticks with the tribal name given by the father ?</p><p>Because I don't understand this my neighbor,he does not want to hear that his wife will give their daughter a name from her tribe and this is not the first time I am hearing this another couple said this and I am wondering why,I asked them and there's no valid reason,</p><p>You will hear something like </p><p>Eh it's her father's culture so she does not have it </p><p>Ahah nawa o</p><p><br></p><p>For me, it's compulsory even if it's not an official name at least </p><p><br></p><p>Is it choice or custom ?</p><p><br></p><p>Because I don't understand some cultures </p><p>I agree Culture is beautiful </p><p>But </p><p>Why must a dad insist that his child is not named by her mother's tribe even if it's not put as the official name?</p>
