<p style="text-align: justify; ">In Nigeria, citizens would rather vandalize telecommunications cables, steal power transformers, extort their neighbors, sell fake drugs, preserve packaged food with harmful chemicals because it's cheaper, but never think to rally as one to vote for and change the governance system. I believe part of the reason why is that no one is patriotic to the country as a whole, but instead allegiant to their different ethnicities. They would rather vote for a man who is kin to them (or endorsed by them), even if it means he is bad for everyone.</p>
