<p><br/></p><p>Pressure is weather</p><p>It does not ask permission</p><p>It settles in the bones like winter</p><p>And only then do you learn how much you can carry</p><p><br/></p><p>The road keeps moving despite the noise</p><p>Dogs bark from behind fences</p><p>The traveler who stops to argue</p><p>Never reaches the valley before night</p><p><br/></p><p>Some rivers dry not from drought</p><p>But from being redirected too often</p><p>Presence thins the same way</p><p>When it is poured into places that do not hold it</p><p><br/></p><p>A tree does not beg the soil to stay fertile</p><p>When the ground turns bitter</p><p>Its roots search elsewhere</p><p>Or it dies standing</p><p><br/></p><p>Familiar ground can still poison growth</p><p>Old fields remember fire</p><p>Even after the grass returns</p><p>The earth does not forget what burned it</p><p><br/></p><p>Leaving is not escape</p><p>It is migration</p><p>Birds do not apologize for the season</p><p>They follow what keeps them alive</p><p><br/></p><p>Endings are not collapse</p><p>They are distance</p><p>And distance is sometimes the only cure</p><p>For land that refuses to heal</p>
