Beyond the Broadcast: The Art of Divine Listening
<p>Prayer.</p><p>Prayer???</p><p>Some people define it as talking to God.</p><p>Well, they’re correct. But there’s more to that.</p><p>I’ll say, prayer is the consistent conversation with God and patience to hear from Him.</p><p><br/></p><p>In our world today, we have many prayer houses, churches and so on…</p><p>We say words of prayer everyday and that’s good. But how effective is it??</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>We go to God and lay down our complains, pouring out our hearts, with full expectations that there’s going to be a mighty shake. But seldom do we stop to ask… Did God speak to me? What is God’s response to this my plea?? </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>John 10:27</p><p><em>"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."</em></p><p><br/></p><p>Yes, God knows your voice. But do you know His?</p><p>Can you recognize that still, gentle whisper??</p><p><br/></p><p>1 Kings 19:11-12</p><p><em>"Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart... but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake... but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire... and after the fire came a gentle whisper."</em></p><p><br/></p><p>True communication often happens in the silence or through emotions that words cannot capture.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Prayer is the difference between simply broadcasting thoughts and engaging in a relationship where listening and presence are just as important as speaking.</p><p><br/></p><p>Are you ready to build that relationship today?? </p><p><br/></p><p>Revelation 3:20</p><p>"<em>Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."</em></p>
