Hmmm… The Good Old Days 🤧
<p>Hmmm.</p><p>The good old days. 🤧</p><p>How I miss the good old days when we played under the rain.</p><p>Days when we didn't feel ashamed to walk through the streets with just a pair of shorts and bare chests.</p><p>Now maturity has set in, and Walking through the streets with Shorts a bare chests is view as madness or being wayward.</p><p>Playing in the rain today will make one look stupid or immature.</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmmm.</p><p>The good old days. 🤧</p><p>How I miss the good old days when we selected food and sleeping during the day was viewed as punishment.</p><p>But now, we struggle just to get a basic meal and we wish we could get just an hour of sleep during the day.</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmmm.</p><p>The good old days. 🤧 </p><p>How I miss the good old days when with just 20 Naira, I was a rich man. And with 50 Naira, I felt like the next Otedola.</p><p>But today, even ten thousand Naira, can't get you goods more than a black polyethylene plastic bag.</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmmm.</p><p>The good old days. 🤧</p><p>How I miss the good old days when by mid-december Mummy uses broomsticks to measure our legs for our next Christmas shoes.</p><p>Days when Christmas wasn't complete till we had eyeglasses with dark shades, Christmas hats, clothes, shoes, wristwatches/bands and new hairstyles.</p><p>But today, Christmas just feels like another day. Maybe just a random public holiday to eat and rest.</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmmm.</p><p>Is adulthood truly a scam? </p><p>Please take me back to the days when we worried less.</p><p>I want to become a child again.....
