<p><em>Oh beloved I miss writing</em></p><p><br/></p><p>When words came easily to mind as soon as my paper felt the sting of my pen</p><p>When creativity bloomed from random moments, moments that turned my face curious, thinking — oh, how do I capture what I've seen, and make another soul live it too?</p><p><br/></p><p><em>Beloved...I miss writing</em></p><p>When staring at a muse, I would recall fond memories and in quick haste jot down, lest I forget</p><p>I miss the feel</p><p>When my little bubble of what I could be, how far I could push myself into becoming more was all I had</p><p><br/></p><p>But life got serious</p><p>I could no longer be lost in that hazy glow —</p><p>you know that glow, right?</p><p>The one where you're certain your readers would clutch their chests and sing your praises,</p><p>awed at the wit your scribblings held,</p><p>how they handed readers a life they'd never lived</p><p><br/></p><p>I covet what I once had</p><p>Power to change a narrative,</p><p>Slip thoughts into your head and bury you in emotions</p><p>so much bigger than your mind's understanding</p><p><br/></p><p>Beloved...if I could ask for one thing</p><p>I'll ask for this</p><p>To rewind time</p><p>When life was simple, when my future was not yet mine to plan, and how I'd keep myself fed and sheltered was never a thought I bore</p><p><br/></p><p>Oh beloved...just like that, haven't I once again made you feel the weight of every emotion I dared to pen?</p><p><br/></p><p><em>Beloved....did you miss me?</em></p><p><br/></p>
