<p>Did you know that the contributions women make In the household whether it is cleaning, cooking, taking care of the children or elders of the house, all of these together is considered unpaid care work? So if it is unpaid care work, that means in a normal circumstance it should be paid for? So if a woman wants a rich husband why do you call her a gold digger?</p><p><br/></p><p>Did you know the pros and cons of studying gender studies is you realize that as a woman since the day you have been born, you have been raised to think , act and develop as a second class citizen? Correct me if I am wrong.</p><p><br/></p><p>There is a stereotype around that says if a woman is very successful, men will get intimidated by her and such a woman is less likely to get a husband/ have a good marriage. Is it true?</p><p><br/></p><p>Did you know the system of trade by barter system that was practiced during the pre colonial era encouraged little to no social inequality in communities, that is social inequality was relatively in existence?</p><p><br/></p><p>Do you know the story behind how Europe made its first contact with Africa? Let me tell you. </p><p>In the 15th century, the Europeans power were in search of new trade routes. Why were they searching for new trade routes? Europe traded with Asia but in the expansion of the  Ottoman empire important trade routes fell under the empire , trading became more difficult thus they had to search for new trade routes. And in this search , one of the European countries Portugal came in contact with west Africa. Searching for new trade routes is not the only reason why the Europeans were exploring.
