Let's... forikori? 🤔</p><p><br/></p><p>My Yoruba people, abeg help me. 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>Anyways, let's not digress too much.</p><p><br/></p><p>Let's get to the matter.</p><p><br/></p><p>In my own perspective o, I don't think this conversation is as black and white as people make it seem.</p><p><br/></p><p>There are two sides to this debate.</p><p><br/></p><p>And before you drag me, hear me out. 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>Yes, some people genuinely reward ignorance.</p><p><br/></p><p>We've all seen it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone confidently says something completely wrong, people laugh, repost it, make memes, and before you know it, the wrong information has travelled farther than the truth ever will.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's dangerous.</p><p><br/></p><p>But...</p><p><br/></p><p>There's another side we don't talk about enough.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some people aren't trying to celebrate ignorance.</p><p><br/></p><p>They're celebrating authenticity.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because tell me...</p><p><br/></p><p>When did not knowing something become a crime?</p><p><br/></p><p>When did "I don't know" become so embarrassing that people would rather confidently guess than honestly admit they're clueless?</p><p><br/></p><p>The truth is, some people genuinely want to learn.</p><p><br/></p><p>They're asking questions.</p><p><br/></p><p>They're trying.</p><p><br/></p><p>They're coming out raw, vulnerable, and with their insecurities exposed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then we attack them.</p><p><br/></p><p>We laugh at them.</p><p><br/></p><p>We call them names.</p><p><br/></p><p>We make them trend for the wrong reasons.</p><p><br/></p><p>And just like that...</p><p><br/></p><p>We don't just kill the question.</p><p><br/></p><p>We kill the confidence to ask the next one.</p><p><br/></p><p>We kill curiosity.</p><p><br/></p><p>We kill growth.</p><p><br/></p><p>There's a huge difference between someone who says,</p><p><br/></p><p>"I don't know. Can you teach me?"</p><p><br/></p><p>and someone who says,</p><p><br/></p><p>"I don't know, and I don't care."</p><p><br/></p><p>One is ignorant.</p><p><br/></p><p>The other is teachable.</p><p><br/></p><p>Please don't confuse the two.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe the real uprising isn't ignorance.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe it's people finally becoming comfortable enough to admit they don't know everything.</p><p><br/></p><p>And honestly...</p><p><br/></p><p>I'd rather live in a world where people ask "stupid" questions than one where everyone pretends to know everything.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because every ex<span style="background-color: transparent;">pert you admire today was once the person who didn't know... but was humble enough to learn.</span></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
