Dirty Singing

Today, I sang my worst.

I saved my voice for him, for when he would have me tonight. I want to scream for him, I want him to have it all.

I sang my worst, but I danced my best. Sashaying in the hips that would welcome him, slowly, seductively. He only had eyes for me. To me, he was the only one in the room.

My back hurt, my throat hurts, my heels are killing me, but I'm on fire. The heat in his eyes fuels me. I can't wait till he touches me and turns me to dust in his arms.

My man, my beautiful man with the strong arms and brown eyes. My sweet companion, how do you keep looking at me like I'm the only thing you see. Like you'd kill for me, like you'd die for me.

I test myself on a softer note and signal for a change of song. This beat is different, this song is all his. Another way for me to tell him that he's mine, that I'm his.

It works, my sweet boy looks at me like he's drowning and kissing me would save him. It's killing me not being able to touch him but it's killing him too and that's what makes it sweet.

Tomorrow, I won't be able to walk, there would be bruises on my knees, and bite marks on my thighs, the thought makes me whimper on a note. He notices, of course he does.

The performance ends, but I don't see him anywhere. I linger, I want him to wait, to suffer a little for me.

The excitement of the evening stays with me till I get to our room. He's there and he's as beautiful, as always. He's there waiting for me and it's perfect. He pushes me on the bed and kneels at my feet ready to make me sing, my best this time
