“Sex is bad for you.”

Well, Ayo begged to differ. The rough, sweet handling she received minutes ago put all of her mother’s warnings to shame. She didn’t even know she could bend like that.

There was a certain disillusionment that came with tasting the big bad and finding out it wasn’t so bad. In fact, it was good. So freaking good. And Ayo? She couldn’t wait to be bent again.

Sex had always been taboo. She couldn’t speak of it; she couldn’t know about it. She was raised in a state of perfect innocence. But curiosity had held her by the throat, and she couldn’t help but give in.

She met Dami a few months ago—more like she re-met him. They had grown up together. Since their early years, he had represented a kind of rebellion her mother despised and tried to choke out of her.

Because of her mother’s stern warnings, she stopped talking to him, stopped associating herself with him. But a few months ago, Dami returned, once again embodying the fiery image of all the things she wanted but couldn’t have. And like a moth, she was drawn to him.

She was insatiable now. Now that she had found a stretch of uncharted seas to sail on. She was free too, in a way...liberated. She promised herself she would journey for miles, ticking off all the adventures her mother kept from her.

Dami was back in the room now, holding a wet rag and dragging it gently over her body, cleaning her up. Calling her beautiful. Precious. Thanking her.

She cursed her mother for lying.
