Growing up Made Me Realise how Easy We Loose Ourselves
<p>We Were Hope</p><p><br/></p><p>We were hope</p><p>Yes, we were.</p><p><br/></p><p>But why the mediocrity?</p><p>Why do we live our lives</p><p>on the bed of procrastination?</p><p>Why are we scared? 😳</p><p><br/></p><p>Growing up felt like living hell.</p><p>Why can't we go back</p><p>back to the days when our only worry</p><p>was food?</p><p><br/></p><p>Now we grow up without identity,</p><p>a plague that haunts us for life.</p><p>We let others define us,</p><p>until we lose ourselves. </p><p><br/></p><p>Why don’t we embrace self-love</p><p>a virtue needed today?</p><p><br/></p><p>We are love.</p><p>We are unique.</p><p>We are creative beings,</p><p>vessels of the Most High.</p><p><br/></p><p>We are extraordinary,</p><p>because we are not ordinary.</p><p><br/></p><p>So let's learn to accept ourselves,</p><p>practice self-love,</p><p>and do the little things</p><p>that make us happy</p><p><br/></p><p>A gentle reminder that we are not our identity crisis...</p><p>But we become if we do nothing about it</p>
