Hymn of a failure
<p>I've come to the end, the end of strive</p><p>Where I no longer struggle or try to thrive</p><p><br/></p><p>This concludes it all, no more distress</p><p>Unfulfilled life, no one to impress</p><p><br/></p><p>I have been drowned, not in the sea</p><p>But the ocean of defeat that swept my knee</p><p><br/></p><p>I'm fulfilled knowing I'm unfulfilled</p><p>A treasureless chest in an open field</p><p><br/></p><p>With state of things I can finally rest</p><p>Not as a burden, not as a test</p><p><br/></p><p>No hopes left to shatter, no faces to please</p><p>Just silence and sky and a whisper of peace</p><p><br/></p><p>No more pretending, no more disguise</p><p>No more disappointing look in their eyes</p><p><br/></p><p>If I'm a failure then let it be</p><p>At least in this still</p><p>ness I'm finally free.</p>
