<p>I Am a Slave in My Homeland </p><p><br/></p><p>Oh, my wondrous home!</p><p>Behold my divine abode!</p><p>Where I sat in the hollow!</p><p>Africa, the depth of shadows.</p><p><br/></p><p>Black is our land and color,</p><p>It's not our brains or culture.</p><p>But our leaders turned it off,</p><p>And make us seem like vultures.</p><p><br/></p><p>We own the fruitful Eden!</p><p>Yet, we are fed by thistles.</p><p>Nature gives us air so fresh,</p><p>Yet, we breathe in pain and grief.</p><p><br/></p><p>I am a slave in my home!</p><p>Enslaved again by our own leaders,</p><p>Who ought to protect the sheep,</p><p>But instead turned into wolves.</p><p><br/></p><p>Weeping in the farm for freedom,</p><p>When would we be free from hard labor?</p><p>Suffering because they lack vision,</p><p>And have forgotten their mission.</p><p><br/></p><p>Guns are smoking in the North,</p><p>People craving peace through war.</p><p>Hunger and starvation ravage,</p><p>Eating up the South-west in haste.</p><p><br/></p><p>Who are we thirsting for?</p><p>One who will rebuild the wrecked structure,</p><p>One who would end home slavery,</p><p>And heal the economy that's aging.</p><p><br/></p><p>For now, still in the slavery field</p><p>Masses grieve in endless labor.</p><p><br/></p><p> KING SUCCESS 🌹💚</p>
