<p>Late nights in the middle of June</p><p>Always spelt doom for me.</p><p>Images of us dancing </p><p>Looming around my room</p><p>Recalling all the days</p><p>When my heart was yours to share</p><p>When being with you made everything complete </p><p><br/></p><p>I won't lie now, I still miss the nights</p><p>When I wouldn't easily cry</p><p>Because it doesn't hurt less when you're not here</p><p>When I would star gaze till noon</p><p>With a picture of you by my side</p><p>And it hits me even harder that you're not mine-</p><p>That one memory I wished to put aside</p><p><br/></p><p>I struggled to not want more</p><p>When you very carelessly leaned in for one</p><p>And now, all I recall about my first kiss</p><p>Was how you tasted my salty lips</p><p>From tears that I couldn't hold back</p><p>Tears from all the hurt till I found happiness</p><p>Tears I shed, wishing it wouldn't be short lived</p><p><br/></p><p>Take me back to the nights</p><p>When all I didn't think about was you</p><p>I just knew I didn't like the month June!</p><p><br/></p>
