Harmless yet dangerous
<p><br/></p><p>"<strong><em>In your introduction, you omitted some important points; number one is your location, number two is your marital status, and number three is your language</em>.</strong>"</p><p><br/></p><p>I got this comment on one of my posts:</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Honestly, as harmless as it seemed, all I could do was smile and say, "<strong>Thank you for reading."</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>Because the truth is, one wrong audience and everything changes.</p><p><br/></p><p>I recently read a post that said <strong>not everything should be shared online</strong>. It was such an insightful piece. I can't remember who wrote it, if you know do, please mention in the comments.</p><p><br/></p><p>One thing I'll always say is this:</p><p><br/></p><p>Be genuine. Be free. Be true. Be humble. But also, be cautious.</p><p><br/></p><p>Celebrate your wins, but protect your peace.</p><p><br/></p><p>Trust people, but guard your privacy.</p><p><br/></p><p>Share your story, but don't feel pressured to tell every chapter.</p><p><br/></p><p>Entrust people with your heart, but learn to encode the parts that don't need public access.</p><p><br/></p><p>Yes, your safety is in God's hands, but the responsibility to make wise decisions is in yours too.
