MY FIRST DATE
<p>My first date experience still remains vivid in my memory, it still feels like yesterday, the strong nostalgic feeling. We met at a cozy restaurant around town, the kind with warm lighting and soft music playing in the background. I got there early of course, obsessively checking out my hair and face in my phone’s camera and wondering if I had over dressed.</p>
<p>When he walked in, chin up with a light smile across his face, I couldn't stop staring and when our eyes met, I looked down quite embarrassed... something clicked. We ordered drinks malt for me and guinness for him he was sitting directly opposite me. The conversation started a little awkward, mostly about favorite movies, places and of course favorite food. But slowly we relaxed into laughter and random talks about childhood memories and weird experiences</p>
<p>There was a moment when he leaned forward and brushed a crumb of the cupcake we had ordered off my sleeve, and it felt so natural like we’d known each other longer than an hour. When we finally walked out into the cool evening air, I wasn’t sure if there’d be a second date even if I secretly wished so. But then he said, “This was fun we should do it again some other time,” "sure'' I replied with a smile and I couldn’t stop smiling the whole way home.</p>
