My Husband Didn't Touch Me for 15 Years
<p>Episode 1</p><p><br/></p><p>The first time my husband pulled away, I thought he just wasn’t in the mood. I never knew it was the beginning of something that would last fifteen years.</p><p><br/></p><p>I thought a few days’ rest would fix everything, so I didn’t think much of it.</p><p><br/></p><p>But one night became two.</p><p>Two became weeks.</p><p>And before I realized it, months were passing.</p><p><br/></p><p>He always came home on time, laughed with me during the day, and sometimes we went out together.</p><p>But at night… he was already asleep.</p><p><br/></p><p>At first, I blamed myself.</p><p>Maybe I wasn’t attractive enough.</p><p>Maybe I had said something that hurt him.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I didn’t know then… he was hiding something.</p><p>Something he was desperately avoiding.</p><p><br/></p><p>One night, I couldn’t hold it in anymore.</p><p>“Honey,” I asked softly, “is there a problem? Did I offend you?”</p><p><br/></p><p>He smiled faintly and said, “No, you’re perfect.”</p><p>Then he promised things would change. But they never changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Slowly, I began to notice something strange.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every night, he would get up, walk to the living room, make a call, then come back to bed.</p><p><br/></p><p>In the morning, I would check his call log, nothing.</p><p>No trace of any call.</p><p>It left me wondering if I should ask or just watch.</p><p><br/></p><p>The next night, I decided to stay awake and listen.</p><p>But that night, he slept peacefully till morning.</p><p><br/></p><p>The following day, while he was getting ready for work, a text popped up on his phone.</p><p>He turned quickly. “What’s that?” he asked.</p><p><br/></p><p>I read it aloud:</p><p>“Your time is still counting. Don’t break it.”</p><p><br/></p><p>He chuckled too quickly. “These contractors won’t let me rest.”</p><p>But his smile didn’t reach his eyes.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Contractors?” I asked. “You never told me anything like that before.”</p><p><br/></p><p>He stammered, as if trying to find words. “Uhmm… when I’m back, we’ll talk about it.”</p><p><br/></p><p>I nodded, pretending to believe him. But something inside me didn’t feel right.</p><p><br/></p><p>That evening, I cooked his favorite meal, and dressed in a way I knew he once loved, hoping tonight would feel different.</p><p><br/></p><p>But when he walked in, I saw something I didn’t expect.</p><p>He froze. His face changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>And for the first time in fifteen years… he looked afraid.</p><p><br/></p><p>To be continued....</p>
