My Life as a second wife

1

They called me a husband snatcher. They called me a gold digge.r

They called me a greedy bi*ch and all sort of names after my wedding with chief trended on social media but I didn't mind. I had my mother and sister solidly behind me and supporting me for doing the right thing.

Guilt does not kill... My mum always said.

do you the world will adjust.... My sister added.

Chief changed my life within few months of accepting him: luxurious car, latest iPhone, money, gold jewelries, fancy dates in expensive hotels in Dubai, a new duplex for my family, landed properties and was even building a shopping mall for me.

All these happened for just one reason, I was able to fulfill his long term desire of becoming a father. And yes I did it on purpose, the name-calling were true, the dragging and embarrassment on social media was also true, at that time I didn't mind besides Chief spoiled me, I was carrying his child after 18 years of him hoping to become a father, but the truth was that Chief approached me first even though not directly... Yes many people doubted it but I was young and very beautiful, at 21 I was already done with Nysc and I was job hunting with my first class degree in accounting, a friend referred me to Chief who employed me in one of his hotels in Abuja as the accountant, my pay was manageable, I did my job diligently and dedicated my all to it. Coming from a humble background where my mother struggled to raise I and my sister as a single mother has made me realize there's more to life and no gain in suffering so I took the bull by the horn when Chief summoned me one afternoon in his office, he commended my work and efforts and that was how our personal relationship started, he flirted first, I got the signal and decided use it wisely not knowing I was digging my own pit... to be cont.
