<p>People think nursing is just about injections and hospital beds.</p><p>They see the uniform</p><p>the smile</p><p>the calm voice</p><p>But they don’t see the weight we carry behind it.</p><p>While others diagnose,</p><p>we stay.</p><p>We are the ones who don’t just visit the patient,</p><p>we live beside them in their hardest hours.</p><p>We notice the small changes before machines do.</p><p>The restlessness.</p><p>The silence.</p><p>The pain they are trying to be “strong” about.</p><p>We clean wounds.</p><p>We clean tears.</p><p>Sometimes, we clean both at the same time.</p><p>We are called when the pain is too much.</p><p>When the fear is too loud.</p><p>When the family needs someone to explain what the doctor said in a language the heart understands.</p><p><br/></p><p>People say, “It’s just a nurse.”</p><p>But that “just” nurse is the one who hasn’t sat down for six hours.</p><p>The one who hasn’t eaten but is reminding someone else to eat.</p><p>The one who goes home carrying faces they can’t forget.</p><p>We hold hands during injections.</p><p>We whisper encouragement before surgeries.</p><p>We celebrate small improvements like miracles.</p><p>And sometimes…</p><p>We are the last voice a patient hears.</p><p>The last hand they feel.</p><p>The last comfort before goodbye.</p><p>We are not “helpers” in healthcare.</p><p>We are the bridge between medicine and humanity.</p><p><br/></p><p>The science is important.</p><p>But the care?</p><p>That’s nursing.</p><p>So no, we are not at the “bottom.”</p><p>We are at the bedside.</p><p>Where life fights its hardest battles.</p><p>Proudly.</p><p>Strongly.</p><p>Compassionately.</p><p>Fearlessly.....THE HANDS THAT NEVER LET GO</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.

We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.

rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.

Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
