SO1EO2 — SHADOWS THAT SHOULDN'T MOVE (The Continuation)

Aira’s face hardened.

“No… something is already here.”

From the shadows between two houses, a long, jagged shape crawled out.

Its body was twisted like broken metal. Its eyes blinked like cracked clocks. The air around it warped as it moved.

Aira whispered, “A Chrono-Beast… and a strong one too.”

The creature let out a warped roar—like echoing clock chimes.

Kairo raised his sword instinctively.

“Another one?!”

Aira placed her hand on his shoulder.

“Kairo… listen to me. You froze time earlier by instinct. But now you must learn to control it.”

“Control it?” Kairo swallowed hard. “I don’t even know how it works!”

Aira pointed to his chest.

“Then start with what you can control—your heartbeat.”

The Chrono-Beast screeched. The world trembled again.

Shin stepped back, trembling.

“Kairo… I think it’s targeting you.”

“Because he’s the Timebearer,” Aira said.

Kairo turned sharply.

“The WHAT?”

But he didn’t have time to ask—

The beast lunged.

Everything happened in an instant.

Kairo felt panic crawl up his spine. He felt the world blur—

Then something clicked inside him.

The blue glow returned to his sword.

The air thickened.

The world slowed.

He heard his heartbeat again.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Time didn’t stop completely this time—

but it slowed to a crawl.

Aira's voice echoed gently behind him.

“Good… you’re learning.”

Kairo stepped forward. The slowed world made his movements light, controlled, powerful.

He swung his sword—

A bright arc of blue energy sliced through the air.

Time snapped back to normal.

The Chrono-Beast tumbled backward, screeched once, then cracked apart like broken glass—disappearing into shimmering dust.

Shin stared, speechless.

“Bro… you… you slowed time. You literally SLOWED TIME.”

Kairo exhaled, shaking slightly.

“I… didn’t know I could do that.”

Aira placed a hand on his arm.

“You’re only using 1% of your real power. Seraphis will send stronger creatures soon.”

Shin looked between them nervously.

“So what do we do now?”

Aira turned toward the far side of the village.

Her voice lowered.

“Now… we find Master Ryuga.

He’s the only one who can train Kairo before the future collapses.”

Kairo tightened his grip on his sword.

Whatever force stole tomorrow—

he wasn’t going to let it win.

The End Of Episode 2

SO1 EO3 — THE SHADOW THAT REMEMBERS YOU is coming soon....

ANTICIPATE✌🏾

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
