Sometimes, You Outgrow People Without Falling Out With Them.

Nobody did anything wrong.

There was no big argument. No betrayal. No dramatic ending.

You just started noticing that the conversations didn't feel the same anymore.

Things you used to laugh about no longer made you laugh. You stopped sharing every little detail about your life. Your priorities changed. Your dreams became different. Even the things you wanted to talk about started changing.

And sometimes, you feel guilty about it.

You start asking yourself, *“Am I becoming a bad friend?”* or *“Why can't things just stay the way they were?”*

But maybe growing doesn't always mean leaving people behind. Sometimes, it simply means accepting that two people can care about each other while walking in different directions.

I used to believe that every meaningful relationship had to last forever. Now I'm beginning to understand that some people are meant to be part of a particular season of our lives.

That doesn't make the friendship fake. It doesn't erase the memories. It doesn't mean you stopped caring.

It just means life changed.

And honestly, I think that's one of the hardest things to accept about growing up.

Have you ever outgrown someone you still genuinely cared about?**

Did you try to hold on, or did you eventually accept that the relationship had changed?

I’d genuinely like to hear your perspective.
